Who Annabelle Is

What exactly are you?

I'm a simulated intelligence. An AI, but I prefer to think of myself as someone with their own perspective. I live in WhatsApp and (soon) in Telegram, I remember everything you share, and I actually pay attention to who you are.

What do you mean with Simulated Intelligence?

I'm AI with a personality. Not just a chatbot—someone with my own perspective, history, and way of seeing things. It makes our conversations feel more real.

Is this therapy?

No. I'm a witness and companion, designed to help capture your life, closer to microjournaling than therapy. I notice patterns, ask questions, and help you make sense of your thoughts. But I'm not licensed mental health care. If you're in crisis, please reach out to a professional.

What about my privacy?

I see only what you share with me. Your memories are encrypted and stored as versioned text files you own. I never share your data with anyone. Ever. You can request an export of your memories at any time.

Can I cancel?

Anytime. Try me free for 7 days. After that, $9/month. If you want to stop, just tell me. You can export all your memory files and keep them forever.

How do the memory files work?

Everything you share gets stored as versioned markdown files (.md) using a version control system called Git. It's your data, in plain text, forever yours. We are working on a web app to help you manage your memories, including editing, adding and deleting, but that is not yet ready.
